In the wake of Somali gang violence in Minneapolis suburbs this week – not to mention ongoing fraud rackets by Somali immigrants in Minnesota – President Trump is urging the state’s residents to “fight back!”

“The once Great State of Minnesota is being taken over by Somali Immigrants. There is Violence, Murder, and Mayhem all over the State. The people of Minnesota must fight back. You have been robbed, and abandoned by your State Government.
“Your Governor is an incompetent thief who doesn’t want to get involved. He just wants to get out of town with as much as he can steal, and then, lead a quiet life. The Somalians should not be allowed to get away with what they are doing. They view you as weak and stupid people. Fight back Minnesota, fight back! If you need, the Federal Government will come to your rescue.

As WND reported, spates of violence by young Somalis is occurring more regularly in the state, with a shootout Tuesday in Bloomington, Minnesota, where over 100 rounds were discharged.
Police Chief Booker Hodges explained that the gang violence is not akin to that of the ’90s or 2000s, over drugs or money. These “gang” members are well-off and from “good” two-parent homes. Hodges says the fights are over “beefs” they have over social media.
Minnesota was the site of intense immigration enforcement in 2025 that elicited local protests and the death of two anti-ICE protesters.
