Although the full story has yet to be written, the evidence so far is that it's surprising how many strong parallels there are between the COVID-19 pandemic and the climate change issue. Here are some examples:
1. Both COVID-19 and climate change are attributable to an invisible (to the naked eye) molecule. (People are more likely to be afraid of something they can't see.)

2. The COVID-19 molecule is SARS-CoV-2, while the climate change molecule is CO2. (Note the C, O and 2 similarities.)
3. Both COVID-19 and climate change are technical, science matters. (People respect science but understand very little about it.)

4. The concerns about both COVID-19 and climate change are based on computer models. (Citizens give credence to computer projections.)
5. Both COVID-19 and climate change computer models have been demonstrated to be highly suspect. (Politicians accept them anyway.)

6. Both COVID-19 and climate change are claimed to be impending catastrophes. (Citizens pay less attention to their freedoms during a crisis.)
7. Politicians have used both COVID-19 and climate change to justify their accumulating more power over citizens. (Citizens have generally acquiesced.)
8. Responses to both COVID-19 and climate change have severe economic consequences. (This is a stated desired result of climate change advocates.)
9. China is playing a pivotal role in both COVID-19 and climate change. (It appears that Beijing's interests are served by both matters.)
10. Supporters of global governance see both COVID-19 and climate change as vehicles to institute it. (Such a change would cause numerous other problems.)

11. The U.N. agencies dealing with COVID-19 (WHO) and climate change (IPCC) are more political than scientific. (Neither is about an objective assessment.)
12. Regarding both COVID-19 and climate change: Is the mainstream media an objective voice of reason, or are they throwing wood on the fire? (Take a guess.)
The bottom line is that these two global matters indicate how easily the left subtly manipulates threatening issues to advance their political agenda. To protect our freedoms, we need to be continually on guard – especially in times of global concern.
