Democrats, during President Donald Trump’s first term, orchestrated two impeach-and-remove campaigns.

Actually one during his term and they tried their second campaign after he already was out of office.

They failed both times.

So this time they want to get an earlier start. In fact, now.

“Starting this work in January is too late,” charged Democrat Delia Remirez, a House member of Illinois, who said in a Telegraph report.

Ramirez is demanding a “concrete” plan now to coordinate the impeachment as soon as a new Congress is sworn in next year.

She’s assuming that the Democrats will regain the majority of the House.

Even if they do, and even if they adopt impeachment articles, they are unlikely to have a supermajority in the Senate, which would be required to remove Trump from office, so the effort would be only political.

Joining Ramirez was Yassamin Ansari, an Arizona Democrat, who claimed, “the push for impeachment is going to be overwhelming.”

And Sri Thanedar, from Michigan, said, “We have a case — a very strong case — so we should really work on it now.”

So far, Democrat leaders Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, have stayed out of that battle.

One commentary said, “The mere existence of this movement demonstrates just how much pressure lawmakers who have not yet gotten on board with impeachment will face in January of 2027.”

A report at RedState turned sarcastic, with, “Democrats, anticipating winning back control of the House of Representatives following the midterm elections, are already plotting how best to serve the American people. Just kidding. They’re already hashing out a plan to engage in their favorite pastime — impeaching President Trump.”

To that end, the report said, the Democrats already are launching “shadow hearings.”

“Man, the resistance party has certainly turned into a single-issue party. Imagine how intellectually challenged and totally void of morals you have to be to make that single issue ‘get Trump.’ They have absolutely nothing to offer the American people,” the report said.

Ramirez disclosed the Democrat agenda when she said, “This is something that I keep saying to our leadership … we need to have a very concrete, coordinated strategy” and the party needs to “build up the case so that when we are in power in January, we’ve created the conditions … we’ve done the fact-checking, we’ve done the shadow hearings, everything we need to be able to impeach [Trump].”

Said RedState, “Got that? She wants her party to spend the next nine months—not trying to better the lives of her constituents, to lower costs for Americans, to cut taxes, to keep the border secure and reduce crime—but rather, prepping an impeachment effort that will serve more as theater than as an accomplishment. There is a zero percent chance they’ll get a two-thirds majority in the Senate, even on the off chance that they gain a small advantage in that chamber as well.”
