‘American people want Fauci behind bars’: Rand Paul teases, ‘The truth is coming’ to bring accountability

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul has done all the “homework” needed to bring criminal charges against former Trump and Biden COVID adviser Anthony Fauci, but so far the Department of Justice has not taken action against him.

“I DID the work, investigated, and sent multiple CRIMINAL referrals to the DOJ. Whether he is indicted or not now is not up to Congress. It is up to the DoJ, and no one else,” Paul posted on X recently, noting that the statute of limitations is up today, May 11.

The latest revelations about the “COVID coverup” are set to come to light Wednesday as the senator holds a hearing with whistleblowers.

“The truth is coming,” promised Paul.

As the Gateway Pundit points out, last Wednesday Paul wrote on X that “David Morens, Dr. Fauci’s top adviser, was indicted, but Fauci himself still walks free.” An hour later, he wrote: “For years, I warned that Fauci and his inner circle buried the truth about Wuhan. Now his closest adviser has been indicted.”

Morens was indicted in April for “deliberately concealed information and falsified records in an effort to suppress alternative theories regarding the origins of COVID-19.”

For years, Paul has come to verbal blows with Fauci at several Senate committee hearings as the senator challenged the “face of COVID” about government policy and warned him about the perils of lying to Congress. Paul noted that such behavior is a felony and carries a penalty of five years behind bars.

Last week, the senator noted, “The American people want Fauci behind bars.”
