For Joe Biden’s pro-abortion administration, destroying the unborn was, along with transgenderism, a top priority for the White House.
As part of that his officials first granted $88 million in emergency loans to Planned Parenthood abortion businesses – to keep people on the payroll during COVID.
Then Biden forgave those loans so the millions of dollars essentially were a handout to the abortion industry in America.
Those corporations now have been notified they got that money without being qualified, and federal officials are working to make sure such a disaster for American taxpayers never happens again.
It is in a report posted by the Daily Signal where Kelly Loeffler, the chief of the Small Business Administration, confirmed those goals.
“The Biden administration said they wanted to blow through the affiliation laws that prevented Planned Parenthood from getting that money and allow them to have those loans and forgave those loans,” she said, in the report, “and so our agency has really ensured that we look at where we can make sure that doesn’t happen again, and that we cooperate in any of the investigations.”
The rules at the time prohibited that taxpayer cash from going to huge organizations, like Planned Parenthood. But what happened was that individual chapters of the abortion behemoth claimed that their local staff numbers were low enough to qualify them, even though they actually were part of the nationwide enterprise.
Loeffer recently opened a review of the legality of that tax money given to abortionists under the Paycheck Protection Program.
She said that review continues.
Loeffler confirmed the government has informed the abortionists “they did get the money unlawfully.”
“It’s clear that affiliation rules would have prohibited Planned Parenthood from getting those funds, and so that’s already not possible for Planned Parenthood under the application of the law to get those funds,” she explained.
The letters from her agency went to 88 Planned Parenthood affiliates asking them to prove they were eligible for the flood of cash from taxpayers.
She told the Daily Signal, “We should make sure that these funds are never even dispersed because they’re harder to claw back than they are to stop at the front end.”
