President Donald Trump on Sunday boasted about the results of his latest physical examination, saying the cognitive portion indicate “extreme intelligence.”
On Truth Social, Trump indicated: “The results of my Physical Examination, taken at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, and just released, were extremely good.
“Unlike other U.S. Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high difficulty, Cognitive Test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered ‘extreme intelligence.’
“Are the Dumocrats really surprised? In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or, 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row.
Trump concluded: “All people running for President and Vice President should be forced to take high difficulty Cognitive Tests. Congress, and the Dumocrats, should demand it!”
“President Trump remains in excellent health,” said Dr. Sean Barbabella, the president’s physician, wrote in a memo released three days after the Tuesday exam.
“Cognitive and physical performance are excellent. He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.”

The memo indicated Trump had numerous tests evaluating cardiac function, eye health, pulmonary function and other areas.
The doctor said Trump’s weight was 238 pounds, 14 pounds higher than in April 2025, and his resting heart rate was 73 beats per minute. He noted the president is currently taking medication for cardiac prevention and cholesterol control.
“The President remains up to date on all appropriate preventive screenings and immunizations,” Barbabella said. “Routine cancer screenings, cardiovascular risk assessment, and metabolic evaluations are current and within recommended intervals. Preventive counseling was provided, including guidance on diet, recommendation to take a low-dose aspirin, increased physical activity, and continued weight loss.”
NBC News reported: “The report also addressed two issues that have drawn public attention in recent months: bruising on the hands and swelling in the legs. Barbabella attributed the hand bruising to frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use, noting that a coagulation profile was normal (this is a blood panel that can point towards a bleeding disorder). They also did not specify the aspirin dose (they previously stated he takes a high dose of 325 mg as opposed to a more common lower dose of 81 mg.)
“The leg swelling, which has been attributed to chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition in older adults in which leg veins have difficulty returning blood to the heart, was noted to have improved. Importantly, his ultrasound of the heart showed preserved heart function (having a weak heart can also sometimes cause leg swelling).”
On Tuesday, Trump took to Truth Social to say: “Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff!”
A day later, Trump posted a telling image about cognitive tests featuring his two predecessors in the Oval Office.
He ranked the score of Barack Obama, Joe Biden and himself when it comes to those who have “aced cognitive tests.”
