President Donald Trump on Monday said the current ceasefire with Iran is on “massive life support,” calling the halt in military action “unbelievably weak.”
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office after announcing a MOMS.gov website promoting maternal heath care, Trump said of the ceasefire: “I would call it the weakest right now after reading that piece of garbage they sent to us. I didn’t even finish reading it. I said I’m not gonna waste my time reading it.”
“It’s on life support,” Trump continued.
“I would say the ceasefire is on massive life support where the doctor walks in and says, ‘Sir, your loved one has approximately a 1% chance of living.'”

Trump said it’s still possible a diplomatic solution can be reached, but noted: “I’ve had a deal with them four or five times. They change their mind. They’re very dishonorable people, their leadership.”
“They change their mind. I’ve had that in business many times. The mind changes.”
