‘My strong performance’: Trump delivers zinger when Jill Biden explains her thoughts about 2024 debate

Joe Biden’s 2024 presidential bid vaporized when he delivered a stunningly incoherent performance during a debate with President Donald Trump.

At the time, Jill Biden gushed over what a great performance Joe had had.

Now she’s publicly confessed his appearance on stage was so bad she thought he might be having a stroke.

And Trump has delivered a zinger.

“Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate, where Joe was not exactly performing to the highest level of debate standards,” he wrote on social media.

“She said that she thought he was having a ‘stroke,’ and various other really bad things, and yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do. The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse. In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple ‘choke,’ leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!”

Democrats, meanwhile, are fed up with the Bidens’ continual bid for attention, as it only reminds voters of the catastrophes associated with them.

It was Jill Biden’s gushing over his debate performance that left even Joe Biden with a glazed look:

“Joe you did such a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts,” she laughed immediately after the debate.

Now she’s admitted she thought he might have been having a stroke at the time.

“I was frightened, because I had never ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never,” she told CBS.

She said she was “scared” to death by Joe’s on-stage presentation.

According to CBS when Trump and Biden appeared for the debate, “Biden alarmed Democrats as he, with a raspy voice, stumbled through many of his answers, often lost his train of thought and struggled to communicate his positions. The president, who was 81 at the time, had a busy travel schedule in the lead up to the debate, and his campaign chalked up his performance to a cold. During one infamous answer during the debate, Biden struggled to form a coherent response to a question about tax rates and the national debt, before concluding ‘Look, if we finally beat Medicare.'”

Only days after the debate, Joe Biden admitted defeat.

And now, Democrats would like the Bidens to just not be there.

A report from the Daily Mail said party members “are furious with the Biden family after both former First Lady Jill and troubled son Hunter have jumped back into the spotlight as the party desperately tries to win back Congress in the midterm elections.”

The report cited Jill Biden’s comments as well as Hunter Biden’s repeated outreaches to media when he likes to discuss his long time under the influence of drugs.,

“I’m Hunter Biden. You’ve never actually heard from me,” he said on social media.

Pete Giangreco, a Democrat strategic, told Politico, “Why are we talking about this? Why are we talking about Hunter Biden? Why is Hunter Biden talking about Hunter Biden?”

Of course, Hunter Biden was the source of a long list of scandals for Joe Biden, including his employment by Burisma in Ukraine while his father was responsible for Ukraine relations for Barack Obama, to his infamous laptop scandal, which revealed a long history of drug and prostitute-related adventures.

Giangreco said, “Nobody wants to relitigate the worst debate performance since the Greek Republic.”

Former White House special assistant Meghan Hays said, in the Daily Mail, the situation was “not welcome from Democrats’ going into the midterms. We have a lot of momentum in our favor … and when we get pulled back into conversations about age and the election in ’24. It’s never gonna be a good place for Democrats. I think it’s a tough place to be.”

Democrat New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lugan Grisham said, of Joe Biden’s condition, “Every person across America and in your administration wondered the same thing, and instead of acknowledging that, we were told for days to ignore it — that it was just a bad night, just an anomaly.”

She said, “What I need to do is to focus on making a difference in the lives of people. And that’s what I think they’re getting really frustrated about, is all this nonsense. I don’t think the average Democratic voter, honestly, particularly in New Mexico, gives a damn about that [Jill Biden’s] book or the debate anymore.”

Giangreco had advice: “Your time has passed, move on. The Republicans and all their super PACs are going to outspend us three-to-one, four-to-one — that’s what we need to be focused on.”

One columnist, Joe Concha of the Washington Examiner, said Jill Biden was the “worst spouse of the century.”
