The FBI created a “kidnap” case involving a number of defendants who were accused of targeting Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, only to have much of it fall to pieces when it was revealed that FBI agents were considered the instigators for much of the scheming.
Now two brothers who were acquitted as part of the court proceedings are suing, alleging they were “framed” by authorities in the case.
It’s in a report at the Gateway Pundit that there are details of the action being taken by twin brothers Michael John Null and William “Bill” Null.
They were two of the Michigan men who were cleared by a jury in 2023 after the state’s Democrat attorney general, Dana Nessel, worked for years with the FBI trying to paint them as terrorists.
“They filed a civil complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan on September 15, 2026, Null v. Nessel, naming leftist Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, disgrace-ridden former FBI Special Agent Richard Trask II (who was fired after domestic assault charges), agent Henrik Impola, former Detroit FBI chief Steven D’Antuono, along with the Michigan State Police and a parade of Deep State actors,” the report explained.

They had been accused of providing material support for terrorist acts, in connection with the alleged plot to kidnap Whitmer, and possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Prosecutors claimed they were lookouts for nighttime surveillance at one of Whitmer’s homes and took part in militia training.
The report confirmed, “The kidnapping plot was manufactured by the FBI.” It seems, the report said, “The FBI paid for training, Governor Whitmer was in on the planning, and the FBI even had an agent sleeping with the militia leader during the planning and training.”
They were acquitted by jury in 2023.
A third defendant also was acquitted at the time.
Nessel, after the acquittal, turned into a “sore loser,” the report said, claiming jurors were “not concerned with the kidnapping and assassination of the governor.”
They had been\ arrested in 2020.
“Michael Null told officers his 13-year-old daughter was home alone. Agents executing the search warrant, the complaint says, drew a gun on the girl when she tried to put her phone in her pocket, then handcuffed and detained her for hours. … At William Null’s house, officers drew guns on his hard-of-hearing elderly father for not walking toward them fast enough and, the complaint alleges, shouted they would ‘put him down like a dog.’ Minor children were cuffed for hours. An aunt who arrived to take the kids was ordered off the property,” the report said.
A government SWAT vehicle even “ran over a family car.”
