A 4th-grader in a North Carolina school district has pleaded directly to her school board for protection from the transgender ideologies so often being adopted and promoted in schools.
A Wake County fourth grader just told her school board:

“I am a 4th-grader here in Wake County,” she explains. “If I had a teacher that was born a man, wears a dress and makeup that would make me feel weird. Because it would also make other kids maybe dress up and be something they aren’t. God made us only a girl or a boy at birth. Anything else is confusing. I want to learn at school, not be confused. I want to feel safe and a man teacher dressed as a woman and acts like a woman scares me. Please protect me and other kids. Thank you.”
The district has been embroiled in recent days in a firefight between transgenderism promoters and those who follow the science that confirms being male or female is embedded in the human body down to the DNA level and doesn’t change.
A report in the News Observer said board members have “rallied around a transgender hire.”
The report blasted Libs of TikTok as “a far-right social media account” and noted it has been urging concerned people to contact the principal of Middle Creek Elementary School in Apex to voice their concerns about the hiring of the transgender teacher.
One supporter said the teacher is “perfectly qualified and a lovely person.”
But others were concerned about the messaging to young children by the promotion of transgenderism in a grade school.
Middle Creek parent Aaron Driver said, “Elementary-aged children are now asking questions about sex, gender identity and pronouns and gender presentation. That creates an educational issue, therefore a parental rights issue.”
The Supreme Court recently ruled that parents have a right to direct the upbringing of their children, including their education.
The teacher, a man who dresses as a woman, also has raised the concern of Republican state Rep. Erin Paré, who has suggested “gender-appropriate professional attire for public school employees.”
The News Observer said it was concealing the identity of the teacher.
But parents have raised the prospect of opting their children out of a class being led by one whose personal sexual identity agenda is being flaunted in front of kids.
Some are pulling their children out of school at times when they would be in class with a man dressed as a woman.
Other concerned parents have pointed out they have been told they should take their children out of public school.
One father in support of the man dressing as a woman told parents who object to, “Maybe pay taxes into the school system and then pay again to escape from it.”
Another commenter, Katrina Day, told the district to either relocate the “children of bigots” or “expel the children of bigots.”
