There’s been a ceasefire with Iran in President Donald Trump’s “Operation Epic Fury” for several weeks now. Renewals, hopes and more have been trotted out.
Now a conclusion to the agenda from Trump to end, forever, the rogue Islamic regime in Iran’s plans to obtain nuclear weapons, for its long-threatened plan to wipe Israel off the map and attack the “Great Satan,” the U.S., could be near.
Reports confirm President Donald Trump on Friday went into a meeting with his advisers in the White House Situation Room.
A “final determination” on Iran is pending, he said.
The Washington Examiner said, “Over six weeks into the ceasefire, negotiations with Tehran have waxed and waned. After a flurry of diplomatic activity and speculation, Trump indicated that the conclusion of negotiations was close in a Truth Social post.”
He said the naval blockade of Iran, put in place to pressure the nation to reach agreement, would “now be lifted,” although it was unclear whether that was immediate, or pending agreement.

Just an hour earlier, U.S. Central Command touted the success of the blockade, the report said.
“U.S. forces continue to enforce the blockade against Iran,” the command said on social media. “As of May 29, 115 commercial vessels have been redirected to ensure no commerce enters or leaves Iranian ports.”
An end to the blockade would be the “most significant development over the past month,” the report said.
Trump has suggested a deal is close several times, but each time a final resolution has not appeared.
Trump’s red lines have been an end to Iran’s nuclear capabilities, turning over uranium, ending support for its proxy network, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
On that topic, Trump said, “Iran must agree that they will never have a Nuclear Weapon or Bomb. The Hormuz Strait must be immediately open, no tolls, for unrestricted shipping traffic, in both directions. All water mines (bombs), if any, will be terminated (we have removed, through detonation, numerous such mines with our great underwater mine sweepers. Iran will complete the immediate removal and/or detonation of any mines that are left, which will not be many!)”
Vice President JD Vance added, “We’re very close, and we’re going to keep on working at it.”
Trump, responding to a reference by the New York Times to a $300 billion investment fund Tehran is demanding for “reparations,” Trump said, “No money will be exchanged, until further notice.”
A recent memorandum, given to Trump for his approval, would extend a ceasefire for another two months, but immediately reopen the Strait, a waterway used for one-fifth of the world’s crude oil transport.
