U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., is urging a public execution for Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother who killed her three children and whose prosecution ended in a mistrial this month.
“Her children are dead, she should be dead too,” Mace, a mother of two, told TMZ.
“She should get the death penalty. It should be public. It should be a public execution,” Mace indicated. “She killed her kids. She deserves nothing less. Three kids are dead.”

When asked what a public execution would look like, Mace replied: “It could be by a firearm, it could be electric chair, I don’t really care. Not an injection.”
“She’s a serial killer. … It should be a warning to women everywhere: you don’t kill your kids.”
Mace, 48, said public executions should not just be for murderers.
“Child rapists, too, add them to the list of public executions,” she said. “Look at the crime we have in this country. If people can get away with murdering children, what else can they do?”

When TMZ pointed out the jury was deadlocked at 11 to 1 in Clancy’s favor, Mace noted: “I will tell you nobody ever wants me on a jury.”

Kevin Reddington, the attorney for Clancy, asked President Donald Trump to pardon his client last week during an appearance on “Good Morning America.”
Mace reacted: “Which is how retarded it is, because he knows as an attorney in the state of Massachusetts, you can’t ask for a federal pardon for a state case. … It doesn’t take a lawyer to figure that out. It was just a publicity stunt. I think it’s nasty. It’s ugly.”
Massachusetts prosecutors have not yet announced if they will seek a second trial for Clancy.
