Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, “absolutely cooks” a leftist reporter who confronts him with her anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement talking point.
His response?
“You guys get lost. I don’t have anything to say to you guys.”
Gill, described on social media as the future Oversight Committee chief, was approached by the activist who insisted, repeatedly, “More than 50 people have died in ICE custody since Trump took office again.”
He tries to find out who the “reporter” is and who she represents.
It takes awhile for her to come clean:

Al Jazeera: “Natasha Del Toro. … More than 50 people…”
Gill: “Who are you with?”
Al Jazeera: “I’m with Fault Lines. It’s a program called Fault Lines.”
Gill: “With whom?”
Al Jazeera: “I just want to ask you questions.”
Gill: “Fault Lines?”
Al Jazeera, “More than 50 people…”
Gill: “I’m trying to figure out who you are.”
Al Jazeera: “I’m a journalist.”
Gill: “I’m asking who you are. Who you’re with.”
Al Jazeera: “More than 50 people have died in ICE custody…”
Gill: “Fault Lines, is that on TV?”
Al Jazeera: “Are we buying time?”
Gill: “No, I’m asking you who you are and who you’re with.”
Al Jazeera: “It’s with Al Jazeera English.”
Gill: “Al Jazeera?”
Gill: “No, I don’t have any desire to talk to Al Jazeera. You guys can get lost. You guys can get lost. I don’t have anything to say to you guys.”
Al Jazeera continues: “More than 50 people have died in ICE custody….since Trump took office.”
Gill: “Why don’t you go somewhere else to report. I’m not talking to you guys at all. Get lost.”
Al Jazeera: “It’s our constitutionally protected right to ask questions, and you have no interest in answering.”
Online resources described Al Jazeera as a Qatari media group that is a private foundation.
It gets much of its money from the government of Qatar and is considered “a trusted source of news in the Arab and Muslim world.”
