‘Make it public’: James Comer calls for release of Ilhan Omar immigration evidence that could trigger expulsion vote

Markwayne Mullin, the chief of the Department of Homeland Security, already has confirmed, as reported by WorldNetDaily, that Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is suspected of wrongdoing.

“We know that she married her brother to try to bring him into the United States. We know he lives now in London,” he said.

Such activities if they occurred would, of course, involve false statements on immigration documents on her arrival in the United States and there could be ramifications.

Including action by Congress.

A report at Just the News confirmed U.S. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chief of the House Oversight Committee, said, of an evidence, “I think they should make it public. Absolutely, make it public.”

He told the “Just the News, No Noise” television show. “The evidence that I’ve seen would show that they would be privy to a lot more evidence than I would have. Most of the evidence I have is public already, anyway. So I think it should be made public, and I think the members of Congress should be the judge and the jury in this.

“Let us vote as to whether or not she needs to remain in Congress. If you violated the laws to become a citizen, should that make you ineligible to be a member of Congress? I think so. But put it up for a vote in Congress and let the American people see how their member of Congress would vote on that.”

Comer’s comments came after Mullin confirmed Omar, “married her brother” as part of an alleged immigration scheme and there is an “ongoing investigation.”

Comer’s comments came after Mullin and White House border czar Tom Homan indicated such evidence involving Omar exists and is under investigation.

Mullin said lying about some issues on an immigration application can result in deportation and there’s no expiration date for those offenses. He said an investigation could find “illegal” actions by Omar.

Omar repeatedly has denied marrying her brother.

Homan said Sunday federal officials are looking into the allegations as part of an “ongoing criminal investigation.”

“I know things are going on, but I can’t give specifics of what’s happening,” he said. “If someone committed an immigration violation, if someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that, regardless if they’re a congressman or not, no one’s above the law. So, I’ll leave it at that. We’ll let HSI, Homeland Security Investigations, continue the investigation.”

WorldNetDaily reported last week on the comments from Mullin.

There long have there been claims that Omar, a Somali immigrant and Democrat representing a Somali-dominated congressional district in Minnesota, engaged in some flagrantly illegal actions some years ago.

The reports suggest that she married her brother in trying to give him American residency.

She is, after all, a native of Somalia, and often has declared her intention to protect Somalia in her actions as a member of Congress.

Omar’s scandal sheet already runs to volumes. One raised serious questions about how her net worth exploded from a few hundred thousand dollars to tens of millions in a matter of a year or three. And then went back down to almost zero.

There also have been dozens and dozens of investigations, arrests and convictions among Somalis in her district related to social services fraud. Some were as basic as offenders setting up a name and corporation, claiming to be running and daycare and billing the government for millions for meals.

Only there were no meals, no children, and no daycare.

Previously, WorldNetDaily reported that journalist Benny Johnson exposed the reasons why Omar is said to have married her own brother.

He said, in a Newsmax interview, “You asked about Ilhan Omar marrying her brother. That’s horrifying. Being inbred is a very bad thing in Western civilization. It’s not what you want to do. There are horrible genetic results. It can really collapse your gene pool. It’s immoral in our culture.”

But, he said, in Somalia, “up to 50% of the tribes are inbred. That’s first and second cousin marriages. The coefficient there is one of the highest rates of inter-family marriages in the world. Also some of the highest rates of child brides in the world. One of the highest rates of female genital mutilation on Earth is from Somalia. One of the highest rates of polygamy and tribal warfare and fraud and piracy all from Somalia.”

“She allegedly was still married to her first husband, Ahmed Hirsi, at the time of the second marriage, the congresswoman has told friends who relayed the account to the Daily Mail. Omar has long denied the allegations. She has since remarried a third time and is wed to political consultant Tim Mynett,” the Daily Mail reported.
