Best-selling author Jonathan Cahn revealed Monday that he was the personal victim of a “demonic” attack in flight by a fellow passenger who had to be duct-taped to restrain him.
American Airlines Flight 618 was en route to from Dallas to Newark last Thursday when the dark disturbance took place, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing in Baltimore.
“I was the unidentified passenger and I was actually attacked, 30,000 feet in the sky. I was attacked on that plane,” Cahn said.
“There’s more to this story than the media will ever tell you or know. There’s more to the story than even the people on the plane realized and the crew realized or the FBI realized when they came on.”

The author says the passenger seated next to him, who has since been identified by the New York Post as 67-year-old Arthur Layne Lundeen of Arizona, was initially quite friendly with him, but became “triggered” when he saw the cover of Cahn’s newly released book, “The Altar of Pergamon.”

“What changed was me telling him the gospel and then getting into the reality of the real power of God on Earth and in our lives,” Cahn says.
“He (Lundeen) says, ‘It’s all bull****. … Jesus is bull****.'”
“I have never seen someone change in a split second from light to dark as I saw then, as if something had taken him over. He went from the friendliest guy in the world to this dark person.”
“Then he says to me … ‘Go F*** yourself’ out of nowhere.”
“It was as if it wasn’t his hatred or rage, but someone else’s speaking acting through him … directed at me. I have no question it was the hatred and the rage and the fury of the enemy (Satan).”

Cahn noted that at one point, the passenger began knocking his computer, spreading a dark patch across his screen.
“He does it in such a way … that now as he does that, the darkness spreads across my computer where it’s now blacking out most of the screen.”
The author is also dispelling any notion that Lundeen was any type of conservative Christian as some news reports may have implied.
“Some of these stories, it says he was speaking about Jesus and he made racist and homophobic comments, as if it was some right-wing conservative, religious conservative, a Christian who hates people. Well, totally false,” said Cahn.
“He was cursing Jesus. He was totally against Jesus. He was on the other side. He was hating Jesus. He was blaspheming Jesus and God.”
Cahn says the passenger became more violent, striking the author and trying to wrestle away his computer.
“The plane is in shock, the pilot is radioing the ground, for an emergency landing. We’re fighting over my computer,” he recounted.
“We’re wrestling. It is written we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities of evil in heavenly places.”
After passengers used duct tape to subdue and restrain the belligerent flier, one of those who helped control the outbreak sat down next to Cahn and said, “You were being tested. God was testing you.'”

Lundeen has since been fired from his position at Tucson-based Long Realty, with the company saying Sunday on Facebook: “Long Realty is aware of reports concerning criminal charges filed against a former affiliated real estate agent arising from an incident that allegedly occurred during a commercial flight. Upon learning of the incident, Long Realty promptly ended its affiliation with the individual. The individual is no longer associated with or authorized to represent Long Realty in any capacity.”
“The conduct described in the reports is wholly inconsistent with the professionalism, integrity, compassion, and respect for others that Long Realty expects from those affiliated with the company. Our thoughts are with the passengers, crew members and others affected by this incident.”

Court records indicate Lundeen is facing state charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
“The FBI is currently conducting interviews to gather the facts and will consult with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland to determine if federal charges will be filed,” the bureau stated.
